This is the 7th time I have seen U2 (3rd time on the Vertigo tour) and I was as bowled over as ever! As far as the organisation goes, well there wasn't any at all. People that had slept there all night were even crushed out of the way. A 6 hour wait in the heat with no respite and by the end an agitated crowd was no fun. There was a stampede at our gate with only 5 security guards, very scary and very dangerous. By some miracle a guard decided to quietly open another door where we were stood and let us in, so we were straight into the elipse. The waiting in the baking heat, no shade and thousands pushing up behind us was worth it in the end. Yet another awesome show by U2. Miss Sarajevo was simply stunning and miracle drug was truly special (especially as I am a nurse!) The Italian fans were brilliant and the stadium was jumping , an awesome sight. To the person earlier who gave such a poor review....two things. Why go to see U2 when you clearly hate them and deprive real fans of tickets? Secondly, are you sure you were actually at this gig ?? I seriously doubt it.A truly unbelievable night that I think surpassed the second night in manchester. I have been in the elipse/heart for all the U2 concerts and I am still waiting to be the one to get to go up there on stage with the man himself. Maybe next time...... anyone know of how to get cheap flights to the USA... well you never know!!
Thanks U2 for your brilliance !
