I was at the show last night at Sun Life Stadium in Miami. I had been reading previews of the show and was convinced that this was going to be a groundbreaking live music experience.
U2 certainly brought the "show". The sound, however -- at least in the upper level of the stadium -- was very thin and distorted.
I have seen two other concerts in this stadium; Pink Floyed in the mid-90's and Paul McCartney last year. The clarity and quality of the sound at both of those shows was vastly superior to the sound at the U2 show.
Overall, considering the hype this tour has been getting, I would rate this as a disappointment. The visuals were great and I'm sure the music was amazing, but the equipment carrying the music wasn't making it clear to a significant portion of the audience.
