I'll tell ya -- there's nothing like feeling the concrete in a stadium bounce from the joyous dancing and jumping of a U2 crowd! It was extremely hot and muggy, but thankfully we didn't sit in torrential rain and after a while those of us seated got breezes.
Bono was in fine voice and form, but honey, please take your jacket off when it's that hot. We don't care if you're just in a t-shirt. I was glad someone else mentioned that Edge didn't seem to have the energy he usually does (tequila!!) but Larry and Adam were in great form.
It was a great concert and I enjoyed hearing different songs than we heard 2 years ago. But ... I think I'm done with stadium concerts. I just felt a disconnect that I don't feel with arena shows.
It's not U(2), it's me.
