We were a part of the magnificent show last night in Brisvegas!
It was like a dream come true. We attended the Vertigo Concert in Sydney and though it was spectacular, but 360o was brilliant. The claw is a most elegant construction and blew us away when we first viewed it, very simply designed but WOW! The light show was incredible. We were in the Red Zone and it was totally thrilling to be so close. However, I do agree, the stands offer an excellent overall view as well. To be a part of an extraordinarily vocal audience was magic and the rapor between the boys is evident as they performed together and moved very freely around the stage. Their old songs are such crowd favourites and the crowd explode each time they sing one, especially Miss Sarajevo, Bono was in fine form and his rendition was inspiring and he never ceases to amaze me. Adam is the most elegant of gentleman and very gracefully swans around. My all time favourites will always be "I Still Haven't Found, One and Streets". Would have loved to hear Bono and Edge do the acoustic version of STuck in a Moment and another one is Bad. Loved, loved, loved "Ultraviolet and With or Without You" at the end.
We didn't want the show to end. The references to John Lennon in the show were rather poignant and Bono performing Dear Prudence was absolutely precious and I will never forget it.
I am very envious of those who are able to attend more concerts, only because Bono is obviously hindered by his back and the fear of them not touring again always is in the back of your mind.
I would sincerely recommend a U2 concert to one and all, purely for the reason that U2 will always be the best band in the world.
