Well despite the downpour, U2 managed to still please the 40 000 people who turned out to see them, I dont think there would be one dissapointed fan amongst the crowd...certainly not the young girl who Bono pulled out of the crowd and gave his jacket to.
The selection of songs was great....with them playing songs from their first albums such as Sunday Bloody Sunday and also their recent stuff from POP.......
Three cheers must go out to the guy who decided to climb the sound tower, pity he missed the last 4 or 5 songs.
The tribute by Bono to Michael Hutchence was something special as was the sound...but the highlight for me was to the Edge play live...he is certainly the best guitarist in the world.
