My first U2 show was March 17, 1985 in Denver and I've been a fan ever since. September 23 was our 10th anniversary so my husband and I made the trip to Minneapolis to celebrate, we were not disappointed. We each have our favorites and were happy to hear them. Nobody will ever be 100% satisfied by the set list, you just have to sit back and hang on for the ride.
In the beginning it seemed like Bono was struggling with his voice, someone else posted that he was getting over a cold. As much as you want them to be on when you see them that's asking a lot based on the number of shows they do. We were just happy to be there.
We also attended San Jose 1 back in April, this show had a different feel. It was great to hear the premier of Crumbs. And, as much as I enjoyed having 40 end the San Jose show it seemed like the crowd mellowed out, Vertigo really gets you pumped as you are leaving the arena.
Thanks to Bono and the boys for an anniversary I'll never forget. I can't wait until Las Vegas 2 in November.
