Well the night before was pretty much going to be impossible to live up to no matter what, but they boys did an admirable job. Lots and lots of snippets, plus Gloria, Crumbs, and Instant Karma. The crowd, in my opinion, was not as good as last night's, but that could have been where I was sitting (let me tell you, the people in my section were pretty blah about the whole thing, and the two girls sitting next to me left after One... shame shame). I was first row in balcony 309 - a great vantage point, and I got some great pictures of the overall set, but also rather nerve-racking to stand up and dance around... the loge seats were so far below, and I only had a tiny bar to stop me :)
Regardless, it was another strong set, the band was obviously still having a lot of fun. Bono's little Christmas list was adorable, as was when he was trying to thank people, and he asked Edge if there was anyone he wanted to thank. Instead of using his mike, he came over and said something in Bono's ear... Bono grinned and said into the mic, "I've just discovered the Edge can't talk."
As for Santa and Elvis... only in Boston :)
