WOW. I saw U2 in Tampa on 11/16. It was my first U2 show, and I enjoyed every second of it. But, only after I attended last night's performance (12/05) did I realize what I had missed out on the first time!
Last night's show was the closest thing I have had to a religious experence ;)
I have never made so much noise IN MY LIFE. And now I know when people say the Tampa crowd wasn't great. Boston was 10 times louder!!
Santa and Elvis were so much fun! And I feel privileged to have witnessed the live rendition of "Crumbs". I was in tears during "Sometimes".
Our entire section was so loud that Bono, Edge, and Adam all would stand a couple extra seconds in front of us on the ellipse. Bono even backtracked, just to hear all of us cheering at top volume.
I cannot justify in words the greatness of this band...
