well this was my last U2 concert of the year...having seen the very first boston show and the tampa show having GA tickets to them all i had to get 2 more GA's to bostons last show...the GA experience is rather bittersweet because its the only way to see U2 front row but it means your going to be on your feet all day long...the first boston show was easy..despite being late and showing up around 9:30am we managed to be in the top 100 in line..in tampa despite being really late showing up around 12:30 we managed to be the top 220 in line...but then in bostons last show it seemed that people finally learned how to get up close...GET THERE EARLY!...to my surprise showing up at 7:30am a half an hour before the wristbands are even given out seeing a huge line...it was maybe 20 degrees with a nasty 10-20mph breeze that made it feel like 0-2 degrees...when time came to get back in line we felt pretty confident of getting somewhere close to the outside rail of the ellipse seeing how thats where ive been the last 2 shows...when scanning my gfs ticket...it didnt say admit to the floor and at first i was like...nu uh...and sure enough my last effort to get in and i got in...3 people from the main stage and it couldnt have been a better show...seeing them that close is just amazing and i wouldnt want it anyother way...the sound was great inside the ellipse the music was perfect and it was the greatest U2 show ive ever been to and this was my 7th time seeing them...they all seemed really happy to be there and it was just perfect
