Seeing U2 live in my home town was inspirational.
My boyfriend and I arrived at 4am that morning in the hope that we would make it into the eclipse. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would be front row centre stage!
No Hollywood director could have created such an entrance for the band. A flash of lighting came over the stadium as the sky unleashed the rain. Words can not describe that moment and the sensation Bono created when he ran out soaking up the rain with all of us as one uniting for the love of rock and roll.
My eyes connected with Bono during Beautiful day so I took the opportunity to blow him a kiss. Overwhelmed by it all I needed a minute to take it all in.
Bono began to sing Yahweh. Just when I thought nothing could top this experience at the end of the song he knelt down and looked into my eyes smiled and said "take this kiss" and blew a kiss to me!!! Then he looked at Matt and smiled.
We saw you last night in A reserve and you were electrifying shine on!! Thank you Bono we will always have "Yahweh" Thank you The Edge, Larry and Adam for the memories Hope to be seeing you soon.
To our fellow die hard fans your dedication and experiences define you. Don’t ever change!
Shireen and Matt
