My first, and only show for the year will go down as one of the best U2 shows I have been able to see in my time as a fan. It definately sets a bar for the rest of their time in Chicago, if not the rest of the tour. The crowd was in it from the beginning, and seemed to be into the new songs for the most part. The strain on Bono's voice was evident, but the band and crowd carried him. I was not in a position to take in any of the visuals, and in fact couldn't really see the band during Invisible or Even Better Than the Real Thing from my vantage point, but neither of those factors took away from the performances of the show.
