Blixa Bargeld (lead vocals, guitar, keyboard), Alexander Hacke (bass, guitar, vocals), N.U. Unruh (custom-made instruments, percussion, vocals), Jochen Arbeit (guitar and vocals), Rudolf Moser (custom-built instruments, percussion, and vocals)
Formed in 1980 in Germany, the band often mixed industrial and punk sounds with their music. They were chosen to open for U2 for the Zoo TV Tour during the European leg but were thrown off the tour after a band member threw an iron bar into the audience.
