I am a long time u2 fan and I had been to several u2 concerts before 'elevation' came to T.O. I was always pissed off at having crap seats so this time I was determined to get as close as possible. I already had 20th row gold seats for the 2nd show, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity that general admission seating offered to me. I walked up to the ACC at 7:30pm and paid a scalper $200 for a GA ticket. I lined up for about 25 minutues before I was let in onto the floor, at which time PJ harvey was on.
When she finished and the lights came on I realized, to my utter surprise, I was 5 feet from the tip of the heart!!!!! I was in awe the whole show as I could see the sweat on Bono's forehead and the whites of his eyes. Advice to anyone with GA tickets to upcoming shows: Get there early and you can watch the show within 5 feet from Bono. no shit.
