Toronto (night 4) was superb, although the show got off to a strange start when the piano for "City of Blinding Lights" started much too early - I'm not sure if this was due to Adam or someone else starting prematurely, but it was noteworthy. A lot of interesting mini-covers; "Rockaway Beach" (The Ramones) at the end of "Vertigo", "See Me, Feel Me" (The Who) during "Electric Co.", "Sgt. Pepper" (Beatles) at the end of "Beautiful Day", and "Relax" (Frankie Goes to Hollywood) during "Discotheque". Speaking of which, I'll admit to being horrified when the "Pop Muzik" intro started (Pop/Popmart is by far my least favorite U2 era) but the re-worked version of "Discotheque" was actually a substantial improvement over the original. Last but not least, it was a thrill to see Daniel Lanois and Eddie Vedder join the band for "Ol' Man River" (and the tail end of "One").
