Well, I didn't write down or memorize the set list but it was almost identical to the previous shows from what I read. Show was great though acoustics in venue were pretty poor since its big old football stadium. Show was near sell-out. Third Eye Blind opened and were pretty ordinary, I thought.
Show lasted about 130 minutes and was moving at times. I am 40 years old, a lawyer and a longtime fan from time I saw I Will Follow and Gloria on primordal MTV in 81-82. I saw band in SA in 82 at Randy's Ballroom where Pistols had played three years before on their one and only US tour. Oh well, I thought the new stuff came off well and crowd was receptive to it. Sunday Bloody Sunday by The Edge was great and a good singalong. Bono mentioned the passing of Michael Hutchence, a nice and poignant touch. Please was good, Gone was good and I don't think show had any lowlights. And of course, the video screen was beyond description and almost distracting from songs but not really.
