Nice show overall. The only let-down was that the mood was a bit too festive and (for me)it took away from the passion and emotions which coincide with the individual songs, but a great time none-the-less.
Oahu was beautiful, super friendly natives, and as always, met some really cool fellow U2 fans while sleeping overnight in the parking lot. Nothing like rice with your eggs in the morning!
Pearl jam was a treat, I've been a fan of their music since the early 90's and this was my first chance to see them as well. Would've liked to hear "Jeremy" and "Black" but "Alive" was in the setlist so that was good enough for the old- school fan in me. Also gotta give it up for Rocko and the Devils! Good job boys.
"Window in the skies" was in the setlist but I didn't know the words although it sounded catchy; after buying U2 18 and hearing the lyrics, it's got to be in my top 10 u2 songs of all time (I'm pretty sure-for now). Love the Lyric: "the grave is now a groove".
