A show that gives your eyes and ears a ride of a lifetime.
You couldn't describe the 360degree stage to truly give the structure justice. It really has to be seen to be believed.
The band performes and gives everyone goosebumps from Edges' first chord & Bono's first vocal note. Beautiful Day was the start of a 2 hour spacehip rollercoaster, with songs like I Will Follow, Elevation, BAD, City Of Blinding Lights & Vertigo giving us the thrill and spills.
Others like Get On Your Boots & the crowd clapping inspired I'll Go Crazy were a great edition to the 2006 tour.
U2 has so much in their back catalogue to play for 2 days straight let alone 2 hours, and while I left the show with a little sadness that great songs like Desire, Pride & All I Want Is You were not on tonights set list, I was more than grateful that I got to share an experience like no other with 60,000 other fans (including Oprah & Sir Bob Geldolf)
I am scared and thrilled to know how they could top that optical display. I guess they would play the show hovering above us, who knows???
