First U2 concert, my first all standing concert, and what a show. Waterboys were a great warm up. I'd managed to get myself somewhere near the front, but when U2 came on all of sudden I was near the back, not sure how that happened. Memories a bit vague after all these years but I do remember the flag on the mic stand mentioned elsewhere. I also remember the bass line on one song causing my jeans to vibrate rather disconcertingly. It was a fabulous concert and I was totally hooked on U2, rawk and roll and concert going.
