November 7 1984 is one of those days that will stay with me for ever.Only 2 miles down the road a major euro football match is being played between Glasgow Celtic and Vienna.I had the choice of both and decided U2(a very hard decision and although Celtic won 3-0 ,a result later outrageously overturned,i think i made the right choice). As Simple Minds 'Promised You A Miracle' booms out i wonder and wait.Canthey be as good as last night? Can it be that good?No problem. From the first song 11 oclock straight thru this is as good as gets!A heavy Celtic presence means at the beginning of Sort of Homecoming a Irish tricolour is flung and lands right on Bonos mike!!To which he replies "Im on both sides".Great night for the Irish inGlasgow!!!
