We traveled from Dublin to see the show last night. After cancelling our flight out of Shannon we had to pull a "Trains, Planes, and Automobiles" adventure to get to Montreal in time for the show. It was worth every ounce of effort. The lads did not disappoint!! Nor did the crowd. I have been attending concerts for nearly three decades and I have never experienced the level of energy that the Montreal crowd unleashed at the conclusion of Where the Streets Have No Name. A piece of our hearts will surely remain here in Montreal!!
The performance was unforgettable. One of our favorite parts was Bono sharing the inpsiration behind the writing of Miss Serajevo...and his perfectly intonated Italian self acompaniment was absolutely brilliant and flooded us with emotion.
This is a live show not to be missed!! If you have any opportunity to get tickets for the monday night show sieze it!!
