A two hour trip from Green Bay to Milwaukee seemed to take only 40 minutes with U2 bootlegs playing off the cd player and anticipation so high I could have gotten out of my car and ran the rest of the way....
From the mind blowing opening of Elevation to the somber tribute to Joey Ramone of In A Little While, U2 captured the Milwaukee audience in a way that I have never seen before. Quite a difference from a crowd that couldn't even let out a whistle at the PopMart show in Madison in '97. The fans were ready to rock and U2 delivered. Thanks Larry for your patience while our eyes were blinded by the sun for the great photograph!
