With snow falling outside the
arena, my friends and I were
hoping that U2 would warm us
up. Did they ever. The energy
from the crowd was overwhelming
as the lights went out and these
tiny little men walked onto the
stage. We were on the balcony &
we could see everything head on.
As Bono started singing Zoo Station,
there was a deafening sound of
some 20,000 fans going apeshit.
From one song to the next, the band
performed perfectly, even though
Bono's voice was giving him problems.
The highlights of the show were the
acoustic versions of Angel Of Harlem,
Satellite Of Love, & Edge's guitar
playing. He's right up there with the
best rock guitarists. This was my first
U2 show and I know it won't be my last.
