Review?
Not Really.
The most important story from that show?
Certifiably!
-U2 Fan since 1980
-Freaked out by 1984 Un.Fire Show
-Travel to see 7 shows for Joshua tour
-Had spring bootlegs, knew People Get Ready was the tune for Bono to pull up a fan to play.
-had front row seats arranged for 1987 since the day after the 1984 show
-made my fellow U2 freak buddy learn the tune
-banged his head on ceiling before leaving for show (showing him what i was going to do when Bono asked for a guitar player)
-i was wrong....
-i pushed him forward...as hard as i could
-Bono picked him
-Al wne on stage and Bono showed him the chords.
-Al walked out to the side stage to play shoulder to shoulder with The Edge
-Al returned to the main stage and jammed the rest of the song.
This deserves a 2-300 word description, and you may see it when Al posts a review after I send him this link. :-)
