What a show !!! Lucky enough to get into the elipse ( make sure you grab a wristband when you get in ) & it rocked !
What a way to kick off...Vertigo exploded the place...but to follow that with I Will Follow...talk about staring the show gently !
The setlist was stronger than 2001 with the inclusion of NYD & Pride. Both anthems were delivered by Bono's perfect vocals & returned loudly by many thousand more.
The sound was perfect throughout & the visuals ( especially when the sun eventually decided to go down ) were stunning.
The band seemed to be enjoying it as much as the crowd , even The Edge was grinning as he walked down the ramp to deliver another faultless solo.
Show finished as strongly as it had begun with Vertigo...even more awesome with the added lightshow.
Bono said " U2 are a band of the future " & on this display he isn't wrong !
