Just recovering from last night in Manchester, last i saw u2 was Newcastle 1983! So yes I`m an oldie and loved the songs from the 80 s. Having read the other reviews I`m wondering if i was at the same concert? In 1983 we left singing and seaty from an evening of energy, joy and fantastic music. What happened to the joy of seeing u2? Bono was just too serious and sounded tired, where was the celebration Bono? Its fantastic what u2 have done for Africa, but what about the rest of life and all the great things to celebrate!!? Having got that off my chest if you had been with us on level 3 west stand everybody knew the words and sang all the time, we were just desperate to dance and get sweaty and it didnt quite happen. maybe Bono has been around too many politians lately!
Still the greatest band in the world.
