Totally agree with many of the comments made about last nights show, but for me I can't help but feel dissapointed. U2 were great and the sound quality from where we were was excellent (mear the front on the left) but what tarnished the whole experience was the venue. The queue for anything (drinks, food, toilets) were huge, 40 minutes to get a drink isn't on. Plus the stage which is designed to extend into the crowd was too low to see anything if you are under 6ft.
On the plus side the stage lighting after dusk was awsome and many songs such as 'streets' 'sunday bloody sunday' 'pride' blew me away. The band tried hard to generate more enthusiasm from the subdued crowd with little effect and as a U2 first timer I would not rush back to see them, certainly not at this venue.
