Its been a long wait since my last U2 show: August 2001, I was ready! Long wait in line to get in and a total mess up letting us into the stadium. Made it into the front section along with 2,999 others and space, there was lots of it. I was amazed they did not let more in but I was so pleased to be in there. Was good to meet friends old & new! You all ROCK! you know who you are!!!
U2 took to the stage at 8:25pm, a great performance the band were on fire and when ELECTRIC Co started I had the BIGGEST smile. A good mix of songs for the set list (I know we all want our own set list, they should play this they should drop that LOL) I was happy with the set. The crowd were a little, how can I put it, quiet. But maybe this was just because of the lack of numbers inside the front section.
Im gonna save the mega review for the ELEVATOR fanzine.
Enjoy a few pix
