Incredible! To see and hear U2 live after listening to their music for the longest time was very fulfilling and exciting. These guys can put on a show! Everything rocked, from the stage design to the belting of familiar choruses. I liked their live version of If You Wear That Velvet Dress, and the encore with the giant lemon and Discotheque -- it blew me away (I don't wanna give too much away, although many probably know what happens).
I saw their ZOO TV Live in Sydney concert, and I thought, if this concert is going to be anything like that, it would truly be great. I was not disappointed. U2 are the best live musicians. It was energetic, emotional, and most of all, fun. I'm extremely happy they chose Edmonton as one of their tour stops, and for not one, but two awesome shows. U2 was most gracious and kind the whole weekend while in the city, and that only heightened the U2 fever. They chose the right venue to put on a great show; we have what it takes to welcome the best musicians.
Overall, an unforgettable experience, and I hope U2 will come through Edmonton once again and rock the night away.
