What can I say? Last night's show was undescribable. This was the first ever show for my girlfriend Stacey and I. Let me just say, I have never experienced anything like it.
We were able to get inside the heart. (Note, if you have GA Tix for upcoming shows, and haven't been in the heart, it's like going to see a band at a bar with not that many people there). SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!
Bono is all over the catwalk and does spend a lot of time at the tip. But, he was in front of us a lot also. We went the the right side of the heart and got right up at the railing. 3rd song in, Bono came over and sang to the photographer right in front of us. It was unreal.
Some highlights we liked: Desire, Stay, All I want is You, Where the Streets Have No Name, basically the every song.
The biggest highlight, an experience we will never forget, an experience that will never be matched again, happened during Mysterious Ways.
As you know, Bono pulled up a few girls at a time and eventually had roughly 25 girls on stage. Well, Bono took the girls around the opposite side of us to the back of the stage, and my girlfriend ran towards Bono, and Bono and her danced with their arms around each other down the side of the heart right in front of us. Put it this way, no words can desribe that.
The bad thing was that she had our camera and had to throw it to me to take a picture, by that time she wasn't with Bono anymore, so if anyone has pictures when all the girls were up there, PLEASE E-MAIL ME!! Thank you.
My girlfriend and I have been to a lot of concerts and have had fantastic seats for them, but what we expereinced last night, will probably never be topped. It is by far one of the greatest experiences we have ever had.
THANK YOU U2!!!! Also, Thank you to all the great people we got to meet and hang out with waiting in line. It made the experience so much better. I wish we could go to more shows, but we just can't. ENJOY the shows and hopefully U2 will come back to the States soon.
Thank you.
