I'm a longtime fan with 30+ U2 shows under my belt (primarily in the New York area). Flew into Dublin with my brother and childhood friend to experience U2 on their home turf. They did not disappoint us. The Saturday show was tremendous but Monday night was everything I could have hoped for, and more. Perfect weather overhead, I ended up on the field next to the left target (Edge's side). Great bunch of talkative fans nearby. From the 1st chords of Vertigo thru "40", U2 blew me away along with the other 80,000 fans. Definitely one of the best U2 shows I've ever attended (right next to the Elevation shows at Irving Plaza and MSG after 9/11). The set list and other fan reviews say it all. I feel extremely blessed to have been able to experience U2 in Dublin. See you on the floor at MSG in October! I have some great pics if I'm able to post.
