OK first things first, that review from the Boston Globe which is posted as the 2nd show in Providence is from the first show so ignore that. Not to mention the reporter got it wrong in reporting that they played Staring At The Sun, it was Please he was talking about, good fact checking!
As for night 2 in Providence a great show, lots of energy, Larry's B-Day. Now this is my 5th/last Elevation show (Hartford, Boston 1&2, Providence 1&2). Best setlist I've seen on the tour! Party Girl/Slow Dancing/Wild Honey made this a unique show plus the whole Larry's B-Day made it great! Bono's voice and the bands energy in both Providence shows was great! I honestly thought they might dog it for Providence 1, but not at all! Great to see Out Of Control in night 1 too!
Overall Providence shows, both on the floor outside the heart, were the best of the tour for me, outside of Boston 2, which I was chosen to go up front for (and hopefully will be on the DVD). And finally once and for all, I'm not a beautiful person, I was near the front of the line number 126 at Boston 2 and I got randomly picked to go in so to everyone who bitched and moaned about that, you would've gone too if you were picked end of story! Plus those who bitched and moaned were one to two persons deep (approximately 4 feet back) from the front so it wasn't that big of a difference!
Great job U2 and thanks for the memories....
