It was good to see that the rain didn't dampen anyone's spirits before the concert.
We'd just joined the queue, and spent £10 on a programme - when it decided to pour down, wonderful. But it was gonna be worth it when we were inside.
There was the inevitable mad rush to the mechandise counter, mainly cos' people wanted to change out of their soaking wet T-shirts, and into some new U2 ones.
It seemed to take a long while for the place to fill up, and looking back, there were quite a few empty seats around the arena.
Kelis' performence I don't think was up to much, but she's not really my cup of tea anyway - but she seemed to go down well with the majority.
Then came the big one - it was my first time in seeing these guys, after missing the Popmart tour, so needless to say, I was looking forward to it.
From the word go, they all gave 110% in the performence.
There was a couple of songs that I would've like to have seen them play like 'Pride' and 'Out Of Control' which I know they've played at some of the other venues, but the ones they did play were excellent.
'Streets' and 'Stay' were my pick of the bunch.
'Kite' was also performed well, dedicated again to Bono's father.
Left after the concert to go to the local Indian to chat to some Canadian U2 fans.
Hopefully I will be able to see them again before they call it a day.
Best wishes to Bono and his family
