22nd show. Third on this tour. Muggy DC summer evening. My seats were partially obstructed by a light tower and rigger, directly in center of B stage and main stage. I went to guest services and received new seats one row higher but 20 seats toward center. Full view of B stage and main stage. From lower level facing the screen, I saw the videos in all their glory for the first time. The videos are powerful and appropriate. When the videos switch from black-and-white to color, the screen is breathtaking.
To my ear the band had tech issues at beginning of BTBS and later on BD. Technicians seem to be working the issue. I saw one item removed from stage. Whatever they did greatly improved the sound. Best Elevation I have heard. The headstand at the end, if including it, would have worked better earlier, not as end of concert, in my opinion. My companion remarked that Larry seemed at his very best this show.
