The band put on a stellar show and it's obvious they are in top form. Highlights for me were Unforgettable Fire and Ultraviolet!
Having said that, the DC crowd was totally uninspired and lame. I was on the field with my wife and only one other person around us was jumping/singing. This was a complete downer for us. There was zero crowd energy. Bono did his best to engage the crowd, but there was nothing there. I've seen U2 in Philly, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Atlanta...all better crowds. Hopefully the crowd in Charlottesville will be more into it.
