Because it was Bono's birthday, People from their office invited memebers of the dutch U2 fanclub "U2 Holland" to do "something".
2 of them came on stage dressed up as a giant bottle of champagne and a giant cake. It took Bono some time before he knew how to react on this, but it was great fun.
