I went to the show last night. I have only seen U2 twice before, once on the zoo tour and once on the Pop Mart tour. I must say that this show was definitely better then both of those. I sat in the mezzanine directly behind the stage in section 219a. The seats were not bad at all. The only time my view was blocked was when they played "Desire" at the tip of the heart but they had the video on the screen in front of us so we could see what was going on. To have a good view of my favorite band playing their instruments was awesome!
The reason I liked this show so much is because they played "New Year's Day" and "Sunday Bloody Sunday" which are two of my favorite songs which they didn't play the last two times I saw them. I also loved "The Fly" as well. Bono started it out singing the first verse slowly and it seemed like they played the song in a different key. Bono also sang the whole song himself and it was different which I liked. "I will Follow" rocked and "All I want is You" was great! I couldn't see the video screens from where I was which I would have liked to, but the songs they played made up for it!
Keep rockin boys and I just wish I had gotten tickets to one of the New York/New Jersey shows on this tour. Hopefully, if the rumor is true and they come back in the fall I'll be able to score some tickets
