What can I say that hasn't been said. This was my seventh show of the tour and 20th time seeing U2 all time. I can't think of any place I would rather be in the world when U2 is playing live.
I worked a half a day and made the road trip from Stamford, CT and was in the First Union Parking lot by 4:30 pm.
I met some great people (the U2 flag girls) in the parking lot and had the honor of shaking Bono's hand as his limo ushered him into the arena.
He was very gracious in taking time to say hello and shake hands with about 20 people including taking some photos.
I made the mistake of leaving my camera in the car when I met Bono but I made up for it at the show.
I wanted the share a sample of photos I was lucky enough to get. Unfortunately the Security wouldn't allow me to take any photos once he saw my zoom lens.
So these are from the opening. Enjoy.
See you in NYC, NJ, and Slane.
