The Austin ZOO TV was the first U2 show I saw live. I must say, it did NOT disappoint. ZOO TV is amazing. The visuals were amazing, even though we were off to the side a bit.
The sound in the Frank Erwin Center was a little muddy and when Bono played the harmonica at the end of "Running to Stand Still", it was really grating. I wish the accoustics were better, but it might have just been where I was sitting.
The funniest part was when Bono was doing a little intro to "I Still Haven't Found" with Edge accompanying him, Edge played a really wierd chord. Bono laughed and asked what in the world is that?
"Until the End of the World" and "Streets" were highlights.
Simply amazing.
