This is the fourth U2 show I've seen--1 each Popmart, Elevation, Vertigo--but I think it is the one I enjoyed the most, by far.
My 19 year old daughter and I were on the floor at the fence separating the floor and the catwalk, and this was a great place to be. Fan energy in this area was HUGE! Everyone sang every word to every song, both old and new, and we danced and yelled and generally had a super time. We were inside the ellipse on the Vertigo tour, but I believe this time, the energy was higher and the view was better.
Now, this is not withstanding that the Dome is huge. If I had not been in GA on the floor, I might have felt dwarfed by the sheer size of the venue. The Phillips arena next door is MUCH more intimate.
All in all, it was well worth the six-hour drive and the time spent in line.
