If you see this tour, try getting a GA ticket. For $55(face value) you can show up whenever you want and walk yourself right into the inner-circle. The circle puts you within a few feet of the band. We showed up before MUSE took the stage, but even when U2 went on people were still able to come in.
Show highlights: Proposing to my girlfriend during Moment of Surrender. During the encore, we moved to the back of the floor to take in the show from afar. As the sounds of With or Without You faded out, I reached into my pocket and unwrapped the engagement ring I bought for my girlfriend. As the first notes of "Moment of Surrender" began, I whispered in her ear and got down on one knee and proposed. She said "YES" and a few people who noticed what just happened came up to us and gave us hugs and kisses. A true "Moment of Surrender" and a night to remember forever.
Other highlights:
Ultraviolet, the new songs, Your Blue Room
Lowlights: A tired version of With or Without You(if your hearts not in it, don't sing it!
Unforgettable Fire: Bono really sucked on this one, and the band seemed out of sync with the sequencers.
Overall, U2 delivered what one can expect during a stadium show. Lots of hit songs and crowd pleasing favorites. Those looking for the deep cuts the band played on the last few tours will be disappointed. And as Joe I. said in his review, U2 needs to play Unknown Caller!
