I attended my 3rd U2 concert tonight at the Glendale Arena. I was lucky enough to get GA tickets through the presale, and was like a little boy all day today. I don't know how else to some up my feelings other than 'wow'. The crowd was great, and into the new songs as much as the hits from albums past. Some were not as familiar with An Cat Dubh or Electric Co., but the long timers loved it. Bono told the story of meeting Pope John Paul II, and showed off his rosary from him before Miracle Drug. Bono said, 'God is in the science.' Amen. Brought me to tears since I count on some 'miracle drugs' of my own to lead a more productive life. Other favorites of mine were Running to Stand Still, City of Blinding Lights and Zoo Station. The band played great. Larry's a pretty good singer during Love and Peace or Else.
