WOW!!!
This was U2 at the top of their game. Pretty much the same songs they have been playing throughout the tour. Love and Peace, Vertigo, and Elevation (what a great version of this song!)really got the crowd going.
I was anticipating hearing Electric Co. and was not disappointed. All the old songs seemed better than last time around. Pride and Sunday Bloody Sunday were great tonight. Sunday Bloody Sunday finally seemed to have the passion it had in the 80's.
U2 was on fire and Where the Streets Have no Name nearly brought down the place. I don't think I ever heard a crowd sing along like they did with this one.
Sonically, this concert may have been U2's best. Every instrument was loud and clear. I don't know if Larry has ever played the drums as passionately as he did last night.
I hope they come back to Phoenix in the fall.
