It was great to see U2 come back to Cleveland for the first time since March 1992. They sounded and looked better than ever. I am as big a U2 freak as anyone out there, and I've heard the complaint that this seems to be a "greatest hits" tour. While us freaks may have validity to that statement, let's remember why we are here: to see simply the greatest rock band of our generation perform live once again! Of course, the true U2er would love to hear the more obscure tunes, but let's face it, most of the people there aren't true fans, and U2 is aware of that fact. We may not have this band as a live act for much longer, let's not complain and just enjoy them! Incidentally, I saw a local TV news report regarding 4 fans who waited to see U2 fly away from Cleveland. Bono was kind enough to walk from the runway to greet these 4 fans and sign autographs. Nuff said!
