I have been a U2 fan since the 7th grade. For some reason or another I was unable to attend one of their concerts until the Elevation tour. I bought my tickets on e-bay at the last minute and my boyfriend and I were in for the greatest experience of our lives. This show was absolutely incredible!! The band was able to totally involve every person in the show even though the Gund was completely packed! Bono was a fan's dream, laying and rolling around at the edge of the heart while grabbing hands and kissing a fan during one song. (that lucky girl!) One of my personal highlights was when Bono jumped off the stage and ran to the back of the arena floor. Our seats were front row at the back of the floor, and when I saw Bono heading my way I hurled myself over the railing. My boyfriend grabbed the back of my jeans, afraid I would plummet to the floor!! I came within about 5 feet of Bono, I can still feel the chills running up my spine. Aside from seeing Bono up close, I loved the versions of "Stay" and "One" which were enough to have me a teary mess by the encore. U2 needs no application for the Best Band in the World, they already are in my book! Can't wait to see them again, hopefully on a much rumored fall leg tour!
