2nd show of the tour. Absolutely brilliant. From the moment the band kicked off, the atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic. I attended Wembley on the 14th and felt that the band was slightly subdued, not spending a great deal of time coming out into the crowd. Hampden was the exact opposite. Amps went down during Walk On but the crowd helped them through.
Had my ten year old son with me for his first show..Hopefully he will remember forever!!!
PS. A lovely touch from Bono mentioning the Barrowlands. 6th of November 1984. This was my first U2 concert. Roll on Cardiff.
