5/4/2016 - I recently spoke with my friend Todd, who I went to the show with at the Sporto back in ‘85. Our seats were so bad, I think we were in the last row (I can’t find a seating chart). We were so close to the roof that we placed the recorder on the iron beam that supported the roof! Yes, we snuck in our cassette recorder and made a tape recording of the show. I asked Todd if he still had the cassette tape and he did! I asked him if he would make a set list for me from the tape and he said he already did, that he knew I would want it. He said Bono had mentioned the previous nights show, he was talking about President Reagan, and he said something like “it is so hot here in Miami, if you have any oxygen canisters, we can use them up on stage!” Here is the set list from May 4, 1985 - Thank you Todd Davis for preserving this part of history! It is so cool, 31 years later to the day to be submitting this set list! Thank you AtU2 for preserving all of this historical information.
