casual fan.I owned rattle and hum, zooropa, and all that you leave behind.Became a rabid fan after seeing the Slane castle dvd. This was my first u2 concert. The crowd was on fire from the moment the lights went out, until 2 1/2 hrs later when the lights came back on.I have NEVER been to a concert where the crowd sang every word of every song the entire night. The fever pitch was reached at the end of Streets have no name. The appreciation from the crowd was incredible,as even Bono was taken aback by the sheer power of the crowds response.Unbelieveable.Highlights were a powerful Sunday bloody Sunday,Sometimes you can't make it,and Miss Sarajevo.the band nailed all 3,and Bono Soared on both opera sequences. Not bad for a band that had NO sound check. There were a few hiccups, such as Bono awkwardly trying to fit snippets onto the end of songs in the wrong key,but all in all the show was exilirating.During until the end of the world, Bono Chased The Edge around the entire elipse, and this happening near the end of the show!!Incredible energy. The worst part of this was our seats. We paid tickets.com 175.00,and our seats were quite aways up and quite aways away.Plus the fact that we did'nt even use our seats,we were on our feet the entire show. Now I understand, now I understand.Instant karma and help were a nice touch for a town that has a link with Lennon and U2.Job well done.
