Still weary from an energized performance by the band. I have to say this, having seen the band several times back on the Unforgettable Fire tour and Joshua Tree tour, the boys still have the passion and focus of a band half their age. I was 20 years old when "Boy" was released and from the first chords of "I Will Follow", knew this was going to be a band for the history books. And they have been. What amazes me about Bono and the boys is they are still making vital music. Songs that mean something and just don't have a catchy hook. My father passed away when I was 19 (some 25 years ago) and when I heard "Sometimes You Can't Make It..." off the new CD, I had tears in my eyes. And last night when Bono sang it with the vigor and intensity that only he can, the tears came again. Thanks boys for being a huge part of my life the last 25 years.
