This was my first U2 show and it certainly lived up to my expectations and more. The day was fine and warm and the crowd was in a jovial mood. BB King was the bomb, what a fantastic way to warm up the crowd. By the time the first strains of Where The Streets Have No Name had begun, everyone from the rear of Lancaster Park began lurching forward, which was frightening as well as exciting for us up near the front, I've never seen anything like it. We were into it, mad sound, mad crowd! The Edge made a clanger in Pride, but hey, he's The Edge, so no-one cared. Some cool dude came on the stage and jammed with the boys too. Adam looked slick in full leather, The Edge & Bono in trade mark hats and Larry worked hard in the engine room. The encore with BB King was memorable. What a concert!
