Review on concert at Lancaster Park, Christchurch on 4th Nov. 1989.
I remember It was a beautiful and warm day. My friend Harald and I decided a couple of weeks before to see the show when we arrived in Auckland and saw a poster with the dates of the tour. After the doors opened they played Beatles music from tape and the crowd got immediately into the right mood. After that BB King started and it was not only a supporting act.
Standing just 20 meters in fornt of the stage gave us an unforgettable experience. We loved the show and although I have seen U2 meanwhile thrice it will remain to me as the best concert I've ever seen!
